The Shop Tank for Muara Laboh-2 Project involved the engineering support, fabrication, inspection, and delivery of a heavy-duty carbon steel storage tank designed to meet the operational requirements of the Muara Laboh Geothermal Power Plant Expansion Project in Solok Selatan, West Sumatra. Executed for PT Inti Karya Persada Teknik as the customer and PT Supreme Energy Muara Laboh as the end client, this project demonstrates PT SK Metalindo’s capability in manufacturing high-quality industrial equipment for the energy sector.
The fabrication process was carried out in accordance with approved engineering drawings, technical specifications, and stringent quality control procedures. Every stage of production—including material preparation, plate cutting, rolling, fit-up, welding, dimensional inspection, non-destructive testing (where applicable), surface finishing, and final inspection—was carefully monitored to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
The tank was manufactured using certified welding procedures and experienced fabrication personnel to achieve excellent structural integrity, dimensional accuracy, and long-term durability. Throughout the project, PT SK Metalindo implemented a comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) system to ensure that all fabrication activities met client expectations while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and reliability.
After successful completion of fabrication and inspection, the Shop Tank was prepared for shipment with proper handling and preservation measures to prevent damage during transportation to the project site in Muara Laboh, Solok Selatan, West Sumatra. The project was completed within the scheduled execution period of April to July 2026, reflecting PT SK Metalindo’s commitment to delivering quality products on time while maintaining operational excellence.
